We know that going to a new place can sometimes be intimidating; so we want to do everything possible to make your visit a positive one. Whether you're coming back to church or you're trying it out for the first time, we know it's a big step. Our prayer is that you feel welcome when you walk through our doors.
Come as you are! There is no dress code at New G because we want you to feel comfortable when you come in and not have to worry about what to wear. You will discover a refreshing diversity in regards to our worship and music. We render contemporary music, praise and worship, and we also enjoy traditional music.
We put value in family. We have several ministries that will address the needs of the individual as well as the family (Singles Ministry, Marriage Ministry). New G also offers ministries to meet the needs of our children, youth and even young adults (Children's Ministry, New G Youth Ministry and New G Young Adult Ministry). Other ministries include: Outreach Ministry, Welcome Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Hospitality Ministry and Choir Ministry. No matter who you are, there is a place for you here!
In February of 2015 God spoke to Pastor LeaSure and directed him in launching and planting a new church in the city of Olive Branch, MS. After intense prayer and fasting and with the Help of the Holy Spirit, the New Genesis Christian Church was born. The Name New Genesis means "New Beginning Body of Christ," and Pastor LeaSure felt and knew that God wanted a church that does more than "church;" God was looking for a church that would help people transform their entire lives.
On February 15, 2015 at 10AM, The New Genesis Christian Church held its first worship service at the Best Western Hotel located at 10915 Business Center Drive in Olive Branch, MS. It wouldn’t take long before God’s Hand upon the congregation would become evident. The church flourished both physically and spiritually. New Genesis worshipped at the hotel for 3 months, and on May 17, 2015, the Lord blessed the congregation to move to a more spacious facility at 9745 Highway 178 in Olive Branch, MS.
The New Genesis Church believes and holds fast that anyone and everyone, regardless of their past or present situation, can make a fresh start beginning in Christ Jesus.
